8:00 The woman that lived here put a mobile on the property in 1978 and was here until she needed ongoing medical care. My home has always felt very welcoming. No issues besides occasional critters since it is in the woods. Oh boy. What kind of critters? I have a lot of questions and opossums and birds. I don't know. Bats? Listen, you know how I feel about the winged "B word". The winged "B word".

8:41 Okay. I have a friend that I got close to and let stay here when she needed. She told me my living room creeped her out at night. I have curtains on one side and the window that faces the woods doesn't. Oh, I mean, because like who's going to be standing in the woods looking in your home? Why do you need curtains? Okay, but you always still need curtains. I need curtains. I don't like it. I have seen a lot and I stayed out in like a country house where like there's the neighbors can't see into your house. No, I don't like that. But yeah, they were like we leave the blinds open all the time.

9:21 You can close them if you want and I was like immediately I'm closing all these blinds because I'm terrified someone's creeping in the woods with a chainsaw. I don't need that in my life. Yeah. That's just I think I don't know. It's just like anxiety like what's that called intrusive thoughts we're just sitting there in front of a window that's open and you're like I wonder who's waiting out there to murder me. I mean, I think that's probably simultaneously that's like the definition of intrusive thoughts but also like probably hanging out with me. I don't know. I've always been like this but I just grew up watching you know the news.

Anyway, we're getting off topic. As always, one of the windows has curtains but the one's facing the woods does not. I have fallen asleep on my couch with my two dogs many of times and no issues. Back to her telling me she was creeped out. Okay. Yes, we want to hear about why. Yeah, we do. We do. It's cute. I'm like we do shaking her head. She said she felt like someone was watching her at night. Girl Same.

That's a good question. But that's what I would think. Maybe there's some leftover teardrops in the pockets. They started to low growl and then the hackles came up. Nope. My friend and I just stared frozen. Kaia, I'm assuming it's K-A-I-A. Yeah. And I-R-I-E. Those are her dog's names.

11:28 Okay. So Kaia and Irie slowly started to approach the wall. They both yelped in a ram like something hit them. But they were headed towards a wall? Yeah. Like they were staring at the coat right. Okay. I really like the wall where the coat- No. No, no, no. No, thank you. Ooh. What if like the hooks were like the hook hands, like the candy man. Doesn't he have a hook hand? Yeah. Yeah. Were there bees on the wall? I don't like that. At the same time, two coats shot off the hooks. I mean, literally flew up, not like they slid off the hooks.

12:11 Well, that's weird. Yeah. Explain that to me. I mean, I guess I've hung a coat and like- But it like immediately slides off. Like it doesn't wait until two dogs are staring at it. Yeah, but it doesn't propel itself. It doesn't like- Yeah. It's not a projectile. Oh. Okay. Ooh, something was there. It's a puppy, and I'm not happy about that. I don't like that. This is very reminiscent of when we were having lots of spookiness here. Yeah, we sure puppies. I don't like it. Did I say I was so frickin scared? No. But now I know. No. My dogs were shaking. Then I drove her home with my dogs.

12:51 I immediately sage my house when I got home. I'm glad you took the dogs with you and then leave them there. Yeah. That's my least favorite part of like any movie where something scary happens and they're like, all right, well, guess we'll leave. Bye dogs. Yeah. Okay. Cool. Okay. Fast forward two months or so. I was talking on the phone with that friend. We were talking about having a girl's night. Again, my dogs got really agitated and the hair on the back of their neck stood up. I don't like it. I told her I'd call her later and got off the phone. The hairs went down and my dogs settled back on the couch.

I mean, not like she's doing anything bad, but like something's attached to her or something. That's what I was thinking immediately. Yeah. Not like blaming this on your friend. I've ever been more thirsty. Okay, there's more. Like I've said, I've never felt uncomfortable here nor has anyone else. Needless to say, I think either my friend has, we jumped the gun here. Needless to say, I think either my friend has an attached entity. Something is in my home that doesn't like her a protective question mark. Oh, I don't know, but I haven't been hanging out with her over the past two years and nothing has happened.

I first thought when I was reading that was like something is attached to her that like doesn't want her to have friends. Oh. But then like, that's interesting. How is it showing up when she's just on the phone with her?

So like maybe that's just a coincidence. But like, I don't know. That is weird though, that like the only two experiences she's ever had with anything involving this house was when her friend was there and when she was talking to her. I mean, she's the one coming to bed, right? So for sure. Yeah, I really don't know why. Like I was getting the sense that like something like you've all attached to her that like just like doesn't want her to have other friends.

15:47 But like that's just part of like your intuition. Yeah, too. I feel like it's making me itchy. Thinking about it. Do you get itchy when you like are feeling things? That's like a sign. I feel like I get itchy when I'm like really nervous. So I feel I probably am constantly itching and not even realizing it. I'm a very fidgety. But I mean, you know, because you enter a podcast and you like. But well, gosh, I don't know that we like really gave any answers and I don't know if we have really any advice because what are you going to do?

Yeah, how do you approach that? Yeah, I will say this, the thing that I thought of immediately Cassie is like at the same time, you know, if this person really is a good friend that you would hate to lose, as opposed to somebody that now you just kind of are like, I just don't really hang out with her anymore. Now, I think back to when I was having a ton of spooky stuff going on over here and obviously not everybody wants to have that happening.

17:15 But feel like for you, it's more of a draw than anything. Yeah. You know, if this is a good friend, you know, maybe, you know, maybe it's worth exploring is there another option? I guess that's what I'm trying to say. It's like the longest walk for the shortest glass of water possible. But yeah, I think I mean, it's been two years. So I don't know if you want to like reach back out, but maybe if you met in like a neutral zone that wasn't your house. And like if weird shit is happening there, then like, you know, it's her. That's a good suggestion.

But then like part of me is also like, is that a good litmus test? Like do you call her when you are home? And then third time is a charm. So Kate was just such an incredibly positive and warm, just a very friendly and genuine person. Just by like, she just, she really had some health struggles.

My heart just like, I hate when people say my heart goes out to you, but like her kids and her husband and anyone who's close to her, I just like, I feel for you because like you said, we felt amazing. We felt her presence and her energy and her personality just in a couple of hours that we spent.
